Rice Cereal...Yuck!

Yesterday the pediatrician gave us the thumbs up to introduce Baron to baby food. Mommy was so excited...she went to Babies R Us immediately and got Baron an assortment of organic baby food, rice cereal, utensils and bowls. Mommy went a little over board!! We could hardly wait for Daddy to get home from work so Baron could try some delicious rice cereal.

Well, as you can see, it didn't go over that well with Mr. Baron. His face was priceless...he actually gagged at one point.

He started out in his high chair, but got mad at me so I ended up holding him.

Not much of the cereal actually stayed in his mouth!

Just wanted to add a pic of our neighbors...they visit everyday to eat the apples that fall from the tree. Every late spring we get a couple new babies! So cute! :-)

4th of July!

Well, the 4th was rainy ALL day so we didn't actually go anywhere. :-( Hopefully next year will be more exciting! First 4th of July! Dressed in his red white and blue.

Baron naps in his CRIB!!!

On Monday Baron took his first nap in his crib. It was probably a bigger deal for Mommy than Baron, as he usually takes his naps downstairs. He was upstairs all by himself...and Mommy even used the monitor!! Mommy only checked on him 3 times!! The nap only lasted an hour, but it's a start.

Baron is 5 Months Old

At 5 Months old, Baron weighed 9lbs 9.6oz measuring 22"

On June 21st, Baron turned 5 months old. Boy, did he have a busy month!! On June 3rd, he rolled over (from tummy to back), we practice twice a day until he finally did it all by himself. This month also started laughing...not his usually chuckle...I mean belly laugh! Aunt Ellie came up to visit and babysit while Mommy and Daddy attended a wedding. On June 12th, Baron rolled over...this time it was from his back to his front! This is something babies usually do around 6 months old! We are so proud of our little man!! Did I mention Baron LOVES to go swimming? Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop came to visit and got to enjoy a day at the pool with us. Baron has already been to the pool a couple times and really enjoys the water. Just like his mommy! In addition to laughing, swimming and rolling over (both ways), he also sat in his new bebe pod (it's a seat that helps babies sit up...picture of him in it above) and watched a Baby Einstein video. I Know!! I told you we had a busy month.

Baron is 4 Months Old

At 4 Months old, Baron weighed 8lbs 2oz

On May 21st, Baron turned 4 months old. This month Baron took his first trip to S. FL on a plane. He did great!! Baron got to meet most of his family and friends for the first time. He just loved being the center of attention. His big cousins Cole, Ty and Rylee finally got to hang out with their new baby cousin. Also during our trip, Baron had his baby naming. His Hebrew name is Baram Yachanan. Baron can't wait for our next trip to FL in July!
